RockReef Celebrates 10th Birthday with Mascot Challenge for Kids to win a year of free Clip’n Climb

Adventure Attractions Celebrates RockReef’s 10th Anniversary with a Community-Focused Mascot Challenge – A Year of Free Clip’n Climb Up for Grabs!

Adventure Attractions, a leader in creating engaging leisure experiences, is delighted to celebrate a significant milestone for one of its flagship destinations: RockReef on Bournemouth Pier. As RockReef marks its 10th birthday, Adventure Attractions is inviting children from across the UK to join in the festivities through a special “RockReef 10th Birthday Mascot Challenge.” This unique contest gives young artists the chance to design RockReef’s new mascot, with the winning entry becoming an integral part of the venue’s celebrations. In true community spirit, the chosen artist will also receive a full year of free access to Clip’n Climb at RockReef.

Since its inception, RockReef has been a year-round destination for thrill-seekers of all ages, offering 28 themed Clip’n Climb walls and additional activities like the Vertical Slide, Leap of Faith jump, Highline aerial course, and the 65-metre Pier Cave. Adventure Attractions takes pride in fostering local partnerships to create unforgettable experiences like these, ensuring RockReef remains a valued part of the Bournemouth community and beyond.

Strengthening Community Bonds through Collaboration
The RockReef 10th Birthday Mascot Challenge reflects Adventure Attractions’ commitment to engaging with the communities where it operates. This competition has been developed in partnership with Arts University Bournemouth (AUB), offering young people the chance to showcase their creativity while connecting with a local institution that nurtures future talent. The winning mascot design will be featured in an exclusive exhibition at AUB, amplifying the impact of young creativity within the Bournemouth area and supporting local arts initiatives.

In addition to collaborating with AUB, Adventure Attractions has engaged with local media partners, including Bournemouth Echo and Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Council, whose representatives will help judge the entries. This partnership approach embodies Adventure Attractions’ belief in working collaboratively to deliver events that celebrate the unique character and talents of each community.

Empowering Young Creatives
This contest is more than just a birthday celebration—it’s an opportunity for children to play a meaningful role in shaping RockReef’s future identity. By encouraging young people to submit their imaginative creations, Adventure Attractions hopes to foster a sense of pride and ownership among participants while inspiring them to be part of their local creative community.

Adventure Attractions looks forward to seeing the creativity and originality that children bring to this challenge, as well as celebrating the mascot chosen to represent RockReef’s next decade of adventure.
