‘The Castle Pantry’ Tea Rooms Reopens at Highcliffe Castle with a Fresh Look and Community Focus
The newly refurbished ‘Castle Pantry’ Tea Rooms at Highcliffe Castle celebrated its grand reopening with a VIP launch on 22nd August, marking a new chapter for this beloved venue.
Under new management by Adventure Attractions, ‘The Castle Pantry’ has undergone extensive renovations to blend the charm of a classic British tea room with modern comforts. Open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, it now offers an enhanced menu featuring hearty hot meals, traditional high tea, and indulgent cream teas, designed to cater to both locals and tourists alike.
Originally constructed in the 1950s for Claretian monks, the tea rooms were transformed into a public café space in the late 20th century. Today, with its warm, inviting atmosphere and fresh new look, ‘The Castle Pantry’ is ready to welcome guests once again.
Gui Brandao, General Manager of ‘The Castle Pantry’ Tea Rooms, expressed gratitude for the support shown by the community, saying, “The response and warm welcome have been overwhelming. We are thankful to everyone who joined us for the grand opening.”
A Space for Community and Collaboration
Set against the scenic backdrop of Highcliffe Castle, known for its rich heritage and stunning views, ‘The Castle Pantry’ is positioned as more than just a tea room. Adventure Attractions aims to make it a versatile venue for gatherings and events, from small group meetings to community functions.
In keeping with its community focus, ‘The Castle Pantry’ proudly collaborates with local suppliers, such as the award-winning Shelley’s Bakery, recently named one of the top five bakeries in the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole area. This partnership ensures top-quality products for visitors and reflects Adventure Attractions’ commitment to supporting local businesses.
Additionally, to foster a sense of community among its patrons, ‘The Castle Pantry’ has introduced a loyalty reward card for regular visitors and invites local groups and clubs to consider the tea rooms as a welcoming space for meetings and small events. “We’re excited to establish ‘The Castle Pantry’ as a true community hub,” Gui added.
With its renewed charm and dedication to the local community, ‘The Castle Pantry’ Tea Rooms looks forward to welcoming guests, offering a delightful escape in the heart of Highcliffe Castle.
