Grade 1 listed tea rooms within historical landmark at Highcliffe Castle.
We were awarded the contract to manage the tea rooms at Highcliffe Castle in 2024.
After several years of closure extensive renovations were carried out in this Grade 1 listed building to make sure the tea rooms had a fresh new look but also blended the charm of a traditional British tea room with modern comforts.
Working with local partners
By collaborating with local suppliers like the award-winning Shelley’s Bakery, which was recently recognised as one of the top five bakers in BCP, the tea rooms ensure high-quality products for all its customers.
To foster a sense of community, The Castle Pantry has introduced a loyalty reward card for regular visitors and is inviting local groups and clubs to consider hosting meetings or small events at the tea rooms.

After being closed since 2022, Adventure Attractions took over the running of the business and extensive renovations were carried out to ensure ‘The Castle Pantry’ has a fresh new look, blending the charm of a traditional British tea room with modern comforts.

Inviting atmosphere with the perfect backdrop to history
Originally built in the 1950s for Claretian monks, the space was later transformed into public tea rooms in the late 20th century. Now, it stands ready to welcome guests into its warm, inviting atmosphere once again.
The Castle Pantry overlooks the iconic Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch and has an outdoor terrace overlooking Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch. It has become a destination for regular visitors, local groups and clubs to hosting meetings or small events.
Since mid-July 2024, visitors have enjoyed our delicious menu featuring hot meals, traditional high tea, and delightful cream tea, available daily from 9 AM to 5 PM.
