Tides Restaurant
Tides is Cromer Piers Grade 2 listed, award winning restaurant
Tides offers dining above the waves to the thousands of visitors to Cromer’s seafront each year, as well as pre and post theatre dinning for one of the UK’s most successful of the last 5 remaining pier theatres.” Tides serves traditional English food, including the world-famous Cromer Crab, all served within the iconic indoor listed building and to an extensive outdoor terrace protected from the North sea with modern wind breaks successfully integrated into this historical asset.
We developed Tides Restaurant as a Grade 2 listed development in partnership with NNDC, and have established the operation from start up. Working alongside local architects, the council and English Heritage we developed the concept for the brand new structure on the pier in order to secure its economic future.
Tides was destroyed on 5th December 2013 by a storm surge in the North Sea and Tides was re-establish from scratch with our insurance claim and reopened for summer 2014.
Tides has been awarded the 2022 and 2023 Diners choice award from Open Table which recognises outstanding restaurants based on feedback from diners.
The Castle Pantry at Highcliffe Castle
Grade 1 listed tea rooms within historical landmark at Highcliffe Castle.
We were awarded the contract to manage the tea rooms at Highcliffe Castle in 2024.
After several years of closure, extensive renovations were carried out in this Grade 1 listed building to make sure the tea rooms had a fresh new look but also blended the charm of a traditional British tea room with modern comforts.
The Castle Pantry overlooks the iconic Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch and has an outdoor terrace overlooking Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch. It has become a destination for regular visitors, local groups and clubs to hosting meetings or small events.
Cromer Pier Pavilion Bar
Openwide, now Adventure Attractions developed a new Cromer Pier Pavilion bar as a Grade 2 listed development in partnership with NNDC, and have established the operation from start up. In 2023 North Norfolk District council made a large investment to fully upgrade the bar and transform it to a modern, light space perfect for socialising.
Coffee Reef
Coffee Reef is our own brand of coffee shop known for it’s excellent freshly brewed Puro coffee and Miko’s Puro fairtrade coffee blend is both great tasting and an ethical choice. Coffee Reef serves a range of drinks and snacks to take away and is located on Bournemouth Pier approach. Under our operation, turnover from Coffee Reef has increased by over 250%.
Key West Coastal Restaurant & Entertainment
Award winning Dining & Events venue on the south coast.
Key West Coastal Restaurant & Entertainment is a large venue, seating up to 200 inside and as many outside with up to 700 for standing and buffet style events. The location offers unrivalled 180 degree panoramic views of the local coastline. It is family friendly and has a relaxed feel with a varied menu. The size allows us to cater for over 1500 people per day in the busy summer months.
Openwide invested £500k to convert an old self-service cafeteria into a full-service restaurant and bar on the pier, created an outdoor deck area surrounded with glass wind breaks and added a state-of-the-art LED lighting system to feature the retained domed ceiling.
We have developed a very popular and extensive events calendar at Key West over the last few years, ranging from comedy dinner events and tribute nights to regular live music throughout the holiday periods. This has transformed Key West from a seasonal venue in to an all year-round dining & events venue.
All Adventure Attractions hospitality venues are operated to exceptionally high standards and hold the maximum UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) rating of 5.
